Use this command to enable the TELNET server function. Use the no form of the
command to disable the TELNET server function.

Telnet is a network protocol used on the Internet or local area networks to
provide a general bidirectional interactive communications facility. Using the
Telnet protocol, users can control a device, through a TCP connection which
transmits data in plain text.
This command is used to enable/disable the IP TELNET server function. The
SSH access interface is separated controlled through SSH commands.
This example shows how to enable telnet server function.
Verify the settings by entering the show system protocol-state command.
ip telnet server
