Sig Bit Inversion
When transmission facilities use bit-oriented signaling (such as CAS), 2 bits are used to
transmit seizure and release signals for calls. Called the A-bit and the B-bit, their meaning can
vary. For example, in the A-bit a "1" might mean on-hook and a "0" might mean off-hook. The
entry in the Country Protocol field on the DS1 Circuit Pack screen sets the default meaning of
these bits.
Usage
Enter y to indicate that this trunk group provides support for incoming
SCCAN calls. Default is n.
Usage
Enter y to make Communication Manager signal the calling media server
or switch when an incoming call is answered. You can only set this field to
y if the Direction field is incoming or two-way.
Usage
Enter y to send a release acknowledgment in response to a forward or
backward release signal.
