Commands for Managing the Switch

show snmpv3 engine-info

show snmpv3 engine-info
Description
Displays information about the SNMPv3 engine on the switch.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
N/A.
Usage Guidelines:
The following show engine-info output is displayed:
• EngineID—Either the ID auto generated from MAC address of switch, or the ID manually
configured.
• EngineBoots—Number of times the agent has been rebooted.
• EngineTime—Time since agent last rebooted, in centiseconds.
• Max. Message Size—Maximum SNMP Message size supported by the Engine (8192).
Example
The following command displays information about the SNMPv3 engine on the switch:
show snmpv3 engine-info
The following is output from this command:
SNMP Engine-ID
SNMP Engine Boots
SNMP Engine Time
SNMP Max. Message Size : 8192

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.1.0.
This command was added to the Summit "e" series of switches in ExtremeWare 7.2e.
