Description
Enables EAPOL flooding on the switch.
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or variables.
Default
Disabled.
Usage Guidelines
Per IEEE 802.1D, Summit "e' series switches do not forward EAPOL frames. Also, if network login is
enabled, EAPOL flooding cannot be enabled. However, under certain conditions, you might opt to
change this behavior to support an upstream central authenticator by enabling the switch to flood the
EAPOL frame on the VLAN associated with the ingress port.
Example
The following example enables EAPOL frame flooding on a Summit "e" series switch:

This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.1e.
Platform Availability
This command is only available on the "e" series platforms.
