traceroute

traceroute <host name | ip_address> {from <source IP address>} {ttl
<number>} {port <port number>}
Description
Enables you to trace the routed path between the switch and a destination endstation.
Syntax Description
host name
ip_address
from <source IP address>
ttl <number>
port <port number>

Usage Guidelines
To use the parameter, you must first configure DNS.

Specifies the hostname of the destination endstation.
Specifies the IP address of the destination endstation.
Uses the specified source address in the ICMP packet. If not specified, the address
of the transmitting interface is used. (6.1 and higher)
Configures the switch to trace up to the time-to-live number of the switch.
