Use to clear all the routes that have previously been redistributed into RIP.
Example
host1#clear ip rip redistribution
There is no no version.
See clear ip rip redistribution
Use to control the interval RIP waits before bringing back up an interface that was
brought down by some event.
The interval can be in the range 0–60 seconds.
Example
host1(config-router)#debounce-time 30
Use the no version to restore the default value, 10 seconds.
See debounce-time
Use to enable RIP to advertise a default route (0.0.0.0/0) if the default route exists
in the IP routing table.
If the default route does not exist, you must configure it using the ip route command,
or specify the always keyword. The always keyword causes RIP to always advertise
the default route, and creates it if it is not present in the IP routing table.
Example
host1(config-router)#default-information originate
Use the no version to disable advertisement of the default route.
See default-information originate
Use to configure RIP to apply this metric for redistributed routes on all subsequently
created interfaces.
Configuring a default metric lowers the priority of the routes.
Use a metric in the range 1 – 16.
Example
host1(config-router)#default-metric 5
Use the no version to restore the default value, 0.
See default-metric
