37) Installation of Drive Pulley
1. Clean and remove grease at installation surface (inside) of
crankshaft and drive pulley.
• Apply Loctite 7471 (primer) to crankshaft after
cleaning, and dry approximate 5 minutes.
• Apply Loctite 648 to installation surface (inside)
of drive pulley.

2. Install key (drive pulley) 1, then set drive pulley 2 using
drive pulley press 3.
Drive Pulley Press 3 :
P/N. 3T5-72868-0
• Align key slot.
• Press fit drive pulley press 2 using plastic
hummer to lightly hitting the top of pulley press.
3. Remove drive pulley press 3, then set belt guide 4 and
pulley nut 5, and tighten nut 8 after install crankshaft
holder 7 to crankshaft 6.
Crankshaft Holder 7 :
P/N. 3T5-72815-0
• Insert projection of belt guide to the hole of
pulley.
• Apply Bond 1342 to thread part of crankshaft.
(pulley nut)
• Tighten magnet nut 8 lightly and hold crankshaft
holder 7 after install it.
