In the SAMPLED mode the 4025TR is looking for the FILM
FRAME input to be low at the end of VSYNC (approximately
coincident with the first post equalizing pulse). This mode is
useful in situations where the FILM FRAME pulse input begins
before VSYNC.
In the DIRECT mode the 4025TR uses the FILM FRAME input
directly.
FRAME pulse input is low for the duration of the field. This is the
preferred mode for Cintel URSA GOLD telecines.
In the IGNORED mode the 4025TR ignores the FILM FRAME
input and the Frame LED on the 4025TR front panel will be ON
all the time. This mode is useful in situations where the film
transfer device does not provide a frame pulse.
Do not use AUTO rate detect when you have selected IGNORE mode. Select
the correct film transfer rate that you are using.
The following limitations apply when operating the 4025TR
without a frame pulse from the telecine.
1. The field dominance for 30 FPS NTSC and 25 FPS PAL
