Configuring the Operation of the Jam Sync Mode when
there is no Incoming Time Code
NO CODE JAM
updated when they are slaved to the reader and the reader
timecode is no longer readable.
Select RUN when you want the Video timecode to free run
when there is no incoming Reader code. When the reader code
resumes, the Video timecode will re-jam to the incoming code.
Using this mode will allow the user to repair large dropouts in
the incoming code. The generated code will be continuous if
the incoming code is also continuous.
Select HOLD when you want the Video timecode to stop when
there is no incoming Reader code.

Use this mode if you want the output of the generator to stop
when you stop the tape machine supplying the incoming code to
the reader.
Select OFF when you want the generator to completely turn Off
when there is no incoming Reader code. When the reader code
resumes, the generator will turn on and re-jam to the incoming
code.

Configuring the operation of the VCG Remote Control Inputs
VCG GPI Is used to select how the VCG remote control inputs will be
used. See section 3.12.9 for a full description of the various
remote control functions.
Select OFF to disable the remote control VCG functions.
Select TOGGLE to configure the remote control VCG inputs to
toggle the VCG displays On and Off on high to low edges of the
remote inputs.
Select EDGE &OFF to configure the remote control VCG inputs
so that low to high edges turn the windows Off and high to low
edges turn the windows On.
Select EDGE &ON to configure the remote control VCG inputs
so that low to high edges turn the windows On and high to low
edges turn the windows Off.
Select LEVEL to configure the remote control VCG inputs so
that the VCG windows are Off when the inputs are LOW and On
when the inputs are HIGH. (The Status screen will be On when
the Status input is LOW and Off when the status input is HIGH.)
