    Dolby Pulse encoding for up to 8 audio services. The 9780SLKE2-H264HD has a dedicated control port that offers a built-in web server for quick and easy configuration. The user can also store up to four unique profiles for recall at the touch of a button.

Connect one HD-SDI input to the BNC marked HD-SDI INPUT1 on the rear panel and the second input to the BNC marked HD-SDI INPUT2. b. Connect the IP management Ethernet cable to the CONTROL Ethernet port on the rear panel.

DATA Main/Redundant – The encoder has two Ethernet ports on the back labelled “Data Main” and “Data Redundant”. These ports are used for streaming out the encoded ASI over IP. One is the main data port and the other port can be configured as a redundant data port (which is an exact copy of the main data).

Connect serial interface on the back of the Encoder to Tera Term. Connection parameters are illustrated in Figure 5-1.

From time to time firmware updates will be provided to add additional features to the unit. The firmware update can be initiated using the web interface.

    9780SLKE2-H264HD 9780SLKE2-H264HD Dual HD/SD-SDI StreamLINK™ MPEG2/H.264/AVC Encoder When MPEG-2 Layer II Encoder is selected, the following parameters can be set: • Audio PID: The Packet ID for the audio elementary stream can be indicated in this field. • Data Format and Data Rate: Data format options include Mono and Stereo. Data rates from 64 to 384 kbps are selectable for stereo and data rates from 32 to 192 kbps are selectable for mono.
