Disconnect the inline
connector. Removal
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
Before performing this procedure, refer to General Disassembly Precautions,
1. Remove the DADF,
2. Remove the DADF rear cover, refer to
3. Remove the DADF front cover,
4. Remove the DADF document transport assembly,
5. Remove the DADF pickup clutch and registration clutch,
6. Remove the DADF scan motor assembly,

Carefully disconnect
the clutch connector.

Remove 3 screws marked A, then
the scan motor assembly.
