Front-Panel Menu Operation

To Store the Instrument State

You can store the instrument state in one of four non-volatile storage locations. A
fifth storage location automatically holds the power-down configuration of the
instrument. When power is restored, the instrument can automatically return to its
state before power-down.
1 Select the desired storage location.
2 Select a custom name for the selected location.
3 Store the instrument state.

and then select the Store State softkey.
If desired, you can assign a custom name to each of the four locations.
– The name can contain up to 12 characters. The first character must be a
letter but the remaining characters can be letters, numbers, or the
underscore character ( " _ " ).
– To add additional characters, press the right-cursor key until the cursor is
to the right of the existing name and then turn the knob.

– To use numbers in the name, you can enter them directly from the numeric
keypad. Use the decimal point from the numeric keypad to add the
underscore character ( " _ " ) to the name.
Press the STORE STATE softkey. The instrument stores the selected function,
frequency, amplitude, dc offset, duty cycle, symmetry, as well as any
modulation parameters in use. The instrument does not store volatile
waveforms created in the arbitrary waveform function.
