4.3 Working with MUTOH Service Assistance Software
(8-b)Connecting with Straight Cable
When connecting computer and printer with straight cable (through hub, like LAN), follow the
steps below.
NOTE
The following explains the procedure to set up on Windows XP with printer IP
address, "192.168.123.231".

From [Control Panel], open
[Network Connections].

Right-click [Local Area Connection]
and select [Properties].

Double-click [Internet Protocol
(TCP/IP)].

"192.168.123.231", enter any value
from "192.168.123.1 to
192.168.123.230" or
"192.168.123.232 to
192.168.123.254" in [IP address].
*In this case, IP address must be
different from other PC IP address
connected on the same hub
