    Product Activation Guide 2.2. Connect printer to your computer 1. Install the printer. “Installation mnual” 2. Turn printer power on and set the IP address. NOTE  When connecting the printer to the network, there should be no IP address overlap between the printer and other network devices.

  • Page 9 Product Activation Guide 4-4 If the printer IP address is "192.168.1.253", enter any value from "192.168.1.1" to "192.168.1.252" or "192.168.1.254" in [IP address] field. NOTE  When the printer IP address has been changed from the default value, specify the computer IP address field by entering the same values as those of the printer IP address up to the third dotted octet (third comma) and a different value for only the last dotted octet.

NOTE To register a printer, make sure  The printer is powered on.  The printer and your computer are connected over the network. 1. Register the printer.
