Wireless InfoKey Controller Battery Removal and Installation

To remove battery:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Rotate Wireless InfoKey controller 45
degrees counterclockwise and separate from
dock adapter ring. See Figure 1‐12.

3. Using a coin or a flathead screwdriver,
unscrew back cover of Wireless InfoKey
controller and remove battery.

To install battery:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Verify that new battery is type CR2430,
available as part of Segway InfoKey kit
(21064‐00001).
3. Insert Wireless InfoKey controller battery
with positive (+) side showing. See
Figure 1‐13.
4. Reattach the Wireless InfoKey controller's
back cover using a coin or flathead
screwdriver.
5. Place Wireless InfoKey controller on dock
adapter ring and rotate clockwise until the
Wireless InfoKey controller is locked into
position. (An audible click should be
detected.) See Figure 1‐12.
6. Perform post‐service tests (page A‐1).
