In many cases, the serviceable power base will
be used as a replaceable module. Note that the
unit serial number and Wireless InfoKey
controller are associated with the serviceable
power base.
Establishing a Serviceable Power Base
The serviceable power base is the launch point
for many service procedures. Throughout this
guide, you will be instructed to "establish a
serviceable power base," which means to
remove (or reassemble) the following
components from the Segway PT:
