LeanSteer Frame Removal

To remove LeanSteer frame:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.

2. Using 5mm hex wrench, remove fastener
holding LeanSteer frame in place. See
Figure 1‐3.
3. Move LeanSteer frame all the way to the left
and right until loose. You might hear and
feel a click when wedge clamp assembly
releases from pivot assembly. See Figure 1‐4.
4. Slide LeanSteer frame away from pivot
assembly, as shown in Figure 1‐5. This
should require minimal force.

If wedge clamps fall out or are removed during
this procedure, put them aside in a safe place as
you will need them to reattach LeanSteer frame
to pivot assembly.
