6. Use tire iron to lift remaining bead over rim,
being careful not to pinch or bind tube or
crack plastic wheel (Figure 4‐16).

7. Using air pump with Schrader valve
attachment (or other source of forced air),
inflate tire enough to seat tire beads
(Figure 4‐17). It may be necessary to over‐
inflate tire to properly seat tire beads. When
properly seated, tire and wheel will have an
even, slight gap. Ensure tire stem is angled
45 degrees toward chassis.

If tire is over-inflated from seating beads, release
air until pressure reaches 15 psi.
8. Install tire/wheel assembly (page 4‐3).
9. Perform post‐service tests (page A‐1).
