6. Using 3mm torque wrench, install and
tighten remaining (2) outer fasteners to 1.6
N‐m.
Do not use power tool. Do not cross-thread or
over-tighten fasteners. Tighten only to the
prescribed torque.
7. Repeat Steps 3 through 5 for other battery.
8. Perform post‐service tests (page A‐1).
Be sure to reinstall all four fasteners per battery.
Segway approved fasteners should be used. If a
fastener is missing, insert center fasteners first.
