Before Removing Fascias

1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Remove one tire/wheel assembly:
Model i2, page 4‐3

• Model x2, page 4‐4
Model x2 Turf, page 4‐5
•
3. Because of interference on the i2 and x2, you
must remove the following:
• (Model i2 only) Remove one fender
(page 5‐3).
• (Model x2 only) Remove both fenders
(page 5‐4) and fender frames as a unit
(page 5‐5).
All PT models have been manufactured with
one of two revisions of the console housing and
trim. The revision is determined by the part
number of the console trim, which is located on
the forward part of the housing and is visible
after the cover is removed. The part numbers for
each revision of the console trim are as follows:
First Revision: 20951‐00001 (Black) or 20951‐

00002 (White)
Second Revision: 21281‐00001 (Black) or
•
21281‐00002 (White)
First-revision console housing cover parts are no
longer manufactured or supported. First-revision
components are not compatible with second-
revision components; similarly, second-revision
components are not backward compatible with
first-revision components. AS A RESULT, IF ANY
FIRST-REVISION CONSOLE HOUSING, GASKET,
OR COVER IS DAMAGED, THE COVER, GASKET,
HOUSING, AND TRIM MUST ALL BE REPLACED
USING THE CURRENT (SECOND) REVISION.
