Mat Removal and Installation

To remove mat:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Lift mat off power base. See Figure 2‐1.

To install mat:
1. Make sure Segway PT is powered off and
unplugged.
2. Verify that top of power base and bottom of
mat are clean, dry, and free of debris.
3. Place mat on power base.
4. Fit mat's rubber tabs into slots formed by
gap between front and rear fascia and power

base. See Figure 2‐1.
5. Tuck tabs in place around entire perimeter
of mat while you press down.
6. Visually confirm that mat is properly
aligned and all rubber tabs are tucked in
prior to riding.
7. Perform post‐service tests (page A‐1).
