Description of SiFC43PA

The block is used for the following application:
● Interface block between the driver blocks of the PA module SITRANS FC430 PA (referred
to below as FC430 PA) for the user program and visualization
How it works
The SiFC43PA block prepares the process data received by driver blocks from a FC430 PA and
makes the data available for further use in the user program and for visualization. Data entered
in the faceplate or via the block inputs is transferred to the FC430 PA by means of driver blocks
and the FC43PADr block (FB 2637).
The function block supports all PDM configurations of the max. four auxiliary variables of the
FC430 PA.
Note
● Below, block parameters are identified e.g. by PV1/PV2/PV3/PV4_OpScale , where
the PV1_OpScale, PV2_OpScale, PV3_OpScale and PV4_OpScale inputs are
intended for the PA variables PV1, PV2, PV3 and PV4.
● Totalizer high resolution is not supported due to data type (64-bit) limitation. If user still
configures in hardware configuration then data in faceplate will not be proper.
● Both Hardware configuration and PV_MeasX selection has to be synchronized.
● Custom unit is not read from device. If custom unit is configured, by default "CUSTOM" text
will be displayed.
● Password entry is must before writing limits to device and performing the Totalizer or Dosing
operations.
