PRECAUTIONS FOR OPERATION
Do not drive the machine on a slope covered with the steel plates. Even with slight slopes there is a hazard
that the machine may slip.
Drive the machine at low speed on the grass or fallen leaves. Even with slight slopes there is a hazard that
the machine may slip.
If the engine stops during travel, immediately lower the bucket to the ground.
PRECAUTIONS WHEN OPERATING ON SLOPES
When working on slopes, there is a hazard that the machine may lose its balance and turn over when per-
forming swing or work equipment operations. This may lead to serious personal injury or death. Always pro-
vide a stable place when performing these operations, and operate carefully.
Do not swing the work equipment from the uphill side to
the downhill side when the bucket is loaded. This opera-
tion is dangerous, and may cause the machine to turn
over.
If the machine has to be used on a slope, pile the soil to
make a platform (A) that will keep the machine as horizon-
tal as possible.
Do not work on a slope covered with the steel plates. Even
with slight slopes there is a hazard that the machine may
slip.
PROHIBITED OPERATIONS
If the machine turns over or falls, or the ground at the working point collapses, it may lead to serious personal
injury or death. Always observe the following.
It is dangerous to work under an overhang. Mudslide or
rockfall may occur, or the overhang may collapse. Never
perform digging under an overhang.
Do not excavate too deeply under the front of the machine.
The ground under the machine may collapse and cause
the machine to fall.
