EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS
STEERING WHEEL
Before operating the drive pedal, make sure that the top turret is facing the oscillating front axle; if the
tower is turned 180°, the controls are inverted.
The machine can be steered by turning the steering wheel in
the desired direction.
STEERING COLUMN LOCK
The height of the steering wheel can be adjusted after loosen-
ing the steering wheel lock nut in an anti-clockwise direction.
After adjusting, tighten the steering wheel's lock nut in a clock-
wise direction.
BRAKES PEDAL
Before moving down a slope, operate the brake pedal to check the braking efficiency.
Do not press the brake pedal suddenly when moving down a steep slope, since the wheels may
slip.
Before travelling on roads, make sure that the lever beside the pedal is locked in travelling position
and that the brake pedal is free from the mechanical retainer for application of the working brake.
Non-compliance with these rules may lead to serious accidents.
The pedal is equipped with a mechanical device that allows it to be used both as travelling brake and working
brake.
This mechanical device is positioned on the left side of the pedal and has two positions.
