EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS
• If the battery goes dead, fusible link (2) may be broken.
• If the engine does not start easily in cold weather even if the starting switch is set to HEAT (preheat) posi-
tion, fusible link (3) may be broken.
REMARK
A fusible link refers to the large-sized fuse wiring installed in the high current flow portion of the circuit.
It protects electrical components and wiring from burning, in the same way as an ordinary fuse.

NOTICE
• Do not let water, mud, or beverage spill on the controller. This will cause failures.
• If any problem occurs in the controller, do not repair it by yourself. Contact your Komatsu distribu-
tor for repair.
The pump controller and KOMTRAX controller are installed in-
side the rear cover at the rear of the operator's cab.
The steering controller is installed beside the left dashboard.
The engine controller is installed to the frame on the inside of
the counterweight at the rear of the engine.
