OPERATION
PERMISSIBLE DEPTH OF WATER, SOIL AND DIRT
NOTICE
When traveling the machine out of water, if the angle of the
machine exceeds 15 °, the rear of the upper structure will
go under water, and water will be thrown up by the radiator
fan, and it may leads breakage of fan. This may cause the
fan to break. Be extremely careful when driving the ma-
chine out of water.
After the job, be sure to supply grease to the parts which have
been under water for a long time until the used grease is pro-
jected. (Around the bucket pin, in particular)

PRECAUTIONS FOR WORKING ON SLOPE

When working on slopes some precautions should be taken to avoid risks for the operator and anyone in the
vicinity. Always respect the following precautions.
Swinging operations or operating the work equipment on
slopes machine may lose its balance and turn over. Avoid such
operations as much as possible.
It is particularly dangerous to swing downhill when the bucket is
loaded.
It is unavoidable to perform such operations, pile soil to make a
platform (A) on the slope so that the machine can be horizon-
tal.
Do not drive the machine on a slope covered with the steel
plates. Even with slight slopes there is a hazard that the ma-
chine may slip.
Do not travel up or down on steep slopes. The machine may tip
over.
When traveling, raise the bucket approximately 20 to 30 cm
above the ground.
