Function Description
Setting the parameters
The brake function must be enabled in the commissioning software (PASmotion) via the
Brake option ("Motor" window).

CAUTION!
Inadequate supply voltage to the motor holding brake can result in a haz-
ardous situation, leading to serious injury and death. The control of the mo-
tor holding brake is not safety-related.
Please consider the power loss due to cable lengths and transition resist-
ances!
Measure the voltage at the brake input!
Test the function of the brakes by releasing and applying the brake.
