GPS Antenna

All GPS receivers require a GPS antenna to receive satellite signals. The rover uses
the same GPS Antenna Module as the base station.
The GPS Antenna Module attaches to the top of the UHF Antenna Module or the
Pole Adapter (Figure 3.31).
Attaching the GPS Antenna Module to either the UHF Antenna Module or the Pole
Adapter is very similar. Note that the base of the GPS Antenna Module is circular
except for a flattened area. The top of either the UHF Antenna Module or the Pole
Adapter has a receptacle designed to hold the GPS Antenna Module. Orient the GPS
Antenna Module so that the flattened side of the Antenna Module base is lined up with
the flattened area inside the top of the UHF Antenna Module or Pole Adapter, and
insert the GPS Antenna Module into the antenna receptacle. If the modules are
correctly aligned, the GPS Antenna Module will push easily into place. Once in place,
