The system is now functioning as a kinematic rover, and ready to perform a
kinematic data collection. Figure 4.9 shows what the pole-mounted rover
system should look like once fully configured and ready to survey.

Kinematic Survey Execution
Now that the base and rover systems are configured, point location can begin. Using
the rover system, you will move about the project area collecting data on points of
interest. This process involves two primary functions. These functions are
Initialization and Point Observation. Each of these functions is discussed below.
