Go to step C if the problem is not yet resolved.
c.You may have a malfunctioning GPS receiver. Call your local dealer or
Thales Navigation Technical Support for assistance.
Receiver is powered up
Go to step 3 below.
Step 3. Is the GPS Antenna Module Connected to the Receiver?
The GPS Antenna Module must be securely connected to the GPS Receiver Module
for the receiver to track satellites. Take a good look at the GPS Antenna Module on
top of the receiver GPS Receiver Module.
Antenna Module not connected to receiver
1. Connect the GPS Antenna Module to the GPS Receiver Module.
a. Insert the Antenna Module into the antenna receptacle at the top of the
GPS Receiver Module. Make sure the base of the Antenna Module is
oriented so that the flattened side of the Antenna Module base is lined up
with the flattened area of the receptacle, and the module will easily slide
into place.
b. Once in place, twist the threaded collar on the Antenna Module until the
antenna is securely locked in place.
c. Once connected, give the GPS receiver a few seconds to lock onto
satellites.
Antenna connected to receiver
1. Ensure proper connection. The GPS Antenna Module must be securely locked
into place on top of the GPS Receiver Module. Ensure this is the case.
2. Ensure the threaded collar on the Antenna Module is tight and not cross
threaded.
Go to the next step if the problem is not yet resolved.
It is important to power off the receiver using the Power key on the Front Panel before
removing the SD card.
