Position the input housing and shaft assembly
on the bench with the turbine shaft through a bench
hole.
1. Inner and outer 3-4 clutch lip seals (624) on the
3-4 clutch piston.
•
Seal lips must face away from the piston
hub.
• Lubricate the seals with Transjel™ J 36850
or equivalent.
2. The 3-4 clutch piston (623) into the input
housing as shown.
• Use care not to damage the seals.
