Exposed ends of bottom pan screws and spray
with penetrating oil.
Remove or Disconnect

Screws (76), oil pan (75) and gasket (73).

2. Oil filter (72) and filter seal (71).

Filter seal may be stuck in the pump.

Inspect
•
Filter (72), open filter by prying the metal
crimping away from the top of the filter
(black) and pull apart. The filter may
contain evidence for root cause diagnosis.
- Clutch material.
- Bronze slivers indicating bushing wear.
- Steel particles.
