• All parts with power steering fluid.
• Spool valve and spool valve bore for corrosion,
nicks, and scoring.
— Discoloration of the spool or bore is not harmful
and is no cause for replacement.

• Tube seat in the housing for burrs, nicks, or corro­
sion. Replace if needed (figures 5 and 6).
• If damage to the booster is found, replace the com­
plete booster.
