CAMSHAFT REMOVAL
+-► Remove or Disconnect (Figures 1 and 26)
1. Bolts (86) and thrust plate (91).
2. Camshaft (95).
A. The fuel pump (lift pump) and pushrod (if used)
must be removed to remove the camshaft on
engines with mechanical fuel pumps.
B. Pull the camshaft from the block carefully to
avoid damage to the camshaft bearings.
