The engines covered in this section are 90-degree V8
type, overhead valve, liquid cooled, with cast iron block
and cylinder heads.
The camshaft is supported by five plain type bearings
and is chain driven. Motion from the camshaft is trans-

ball-pivot type rocker arms. Heavy Duty 5.7L exhaust
valve guides and all 7.4L valve guides are pressed in.
