4.8 Signal connections
PROFIBUS address switches
You set the PROFIBUS address of the inverter using the address switch on the Control Unit,
in parameter p0918 or in STARTER.
In parameter p0918 (factory setting: 126) or in STARTER, you can only set the address if all
address switches are set to "OFF" (0) or "ON" (1).
If you have specified a valid address with the address switches, this address will always be
the one that takes effect and parameter p0918 cannot be changed.
Valid address range: 1 ... 125

After setting the address, the supply voltage must be switched off and on so that the change
takes effect.
