7.7 Application-specific functions
Switch off motor in bypass mode
● In bypass mode the motor no longer responds to the OFF1 command, but rather only to
OFF2 and OFF3.
● If you cut off power to the inverter in bypass mode, the bypass contactor opens and the
motor coasts down. If you want to operate the motor even when the inverter is switched
off, the signal for the bypass contactor must come from the higher-level controller.
Temperature monitoring and overload protection in bypass mode
● If the motor is running in bypass mode, while the inverter is in the "ready and bypass"
state (r899.0 = 1 and r0046.25 = 1), then the motor temperature monitoring via the
temperature sensor is active.
● Install the overload protection for the motor bypass mode.

Switchover time for contactors. This should be longer than the motor's de-magnetizing
time!

Delay time for switching back to inverter operation.
Bypass delay time
Delay time for switching to bypass mode.
Bypass speed threshold
Speed threshold for switching to bypass mode.
Bypass control command
Signal source for switching to bypass mode.
Bypass switchover source configuration
Switch to bypass mode using speed threshold or control signal.
Bypass switch feedback
Signal source for contactor feedback for bypass mode.
