4. In the Items list, double-click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). The Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Properties dialog box is displayed.
Windows Vista Internet Protocol Properties dialog box
You can review and change IP settings in the Internet Protocol Properties dialog box.
To open this dialog box in Windows Vista:
1. Click Start and select Control Panel.
2. Open Network & Sharing Center.
3. In the list, click View Status next to Connection. The Wireless Network Connection Status dialog
box is displayed.
4. Click Properties. A permissions message is displayed.
5. If you are logged in as an administrator, click Continue. If you are not logged in as an
administrator, enter the administrator's password to continue.
6. The Network Connection Properties dialog box is displayed.
7. Double-click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) in the items list. The Internet Protocol
Properties dialog box is displayed.
