This section describes the EtherNet/IP wiring of the K6CM devices.

EtherNet/IP Wiring

Connect the K6CM devices with the Motor condition monitoring Tool, PLC, or PC via the industrial
switching hub with the Ethernet cables.
• For 100Base-TX, use an STP (shielded twisted-pair) cable of category 5 or higher. You can use
either a straight or cross cable.

to each motor condition
monitoring device one to
one using an Ethernet
cable without a switching
hub.
 Recommended Ethernet switches
Ethernet switches are recommended for use in environments that can be used in FA environments
and devices that can use QoS (Packet Priority Control) dedicated to EtherNet/IP.
