Go to step 5
(a) Disconnect the N17 canister pump module connector.
(b) Disconnect the C55 ECM connector.
(c) Measure the resistance between the terminals of the
wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance (Check for open)
Tester Connection
N17-4 (VCC) - C55-75 (VCPP)
N17-3 (VOUT) - C55-77 (PPMP)
N17-2 (SGND) - C55-76 (EPPM)
Standard resistance (Check for short)
Tester Connection
N17-4 (VCC) or C55-75 (VCPP) - Body ground
N17-3 (VOUT) or C55-77 (PPMP) - Body ground
N17-2 (SGND) or C55-76 (EPPM) - Body ground
(d) Reconnect the canister pump module connector.
(e) Reconnect the ECM connector.
