(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and tester on.
(c) Check the communication between the tester and ECM.

(a) Disconnect the throttle body connector.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
(c) Check the MIL.
(d) Reconnect the throttle body connector.

(a) Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor
connector.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
(c) Check the MIL.
(d) Reconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor
connector.
