(c) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

OK is displayed on the screen.
HINT:
If the result is not as specified, there may be a
malfunction with the steering lock ECU or the ID code
box.
NG
(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
HINT:
When using the intelligent tester with the engine switch
off, turn on and off any of the door courtesy light switches
repeatedly at 1.5 second intervals or less until
communication between the tester and vehicle starts.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
HINT:
When using the intelligent tester with the engine switch
off, turn on and off any of the door courtesy light switches

communication between the tester and vehicle starts.
(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).
