ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. INSPECT CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE
ASSEMBLY
(a) Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the
DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
(c) Start and warm up the engine.
(d) Connect the intelligent tester and select VVT from
the ACTIVE TEST menu.
(e) Check the engine speed when the OCV is operated
with the intelligent tester.
OK
Condition
VVT system is OFF (OCV is OFF)
