Suggested Cause/Action
• Check the serial interface and cable
connection between the PC.
• Replace the DIU (PCFE board) or FCU.
Check the SAF.
• Divide the original into more than one page.
• Check the resolution used for scanning. Lower
the scan resolution if possible.
• Add optional page memory.
• Wait for the files in the queue to be sent.
• Delete unnecessary files from memory.
• Transfer the substitute reception files to an
another fax machine, if the machine's printer is
busy or out of order.
• Add an optional SAF memory card or hard
disk.
• The job started normally but did not finish
normally; data may or may not have been
received fully.
• Restart the machine.
