COPY ADJUSTMENTS: PRINTING/SCANNING
Blank Margin
NOTE: If the leading edge/side-to-side registration cannot be adjusted within the
specifications, adjust the leading/left side edge blank margin.
1. Check the trailing edge and right side edge blank margins, and adjust them
using the following SP modes.
Trailing edge
Right edge
Leading edge
Left edge
Trailing edge (duplex
copy, 2nd side)
Left edge (duplex
copy, 2nd side)
Right edge (duplex
copy, 2nd side)
Main Scan Magnification
1. Print the single-dot grid pattern (SP5-902, no.5).
2. Check the magnification, and adjust the magnification using SP2-998-1 if
necessary. The specification is ± 1%.
