Check tor continuity between pairs of commutator bars.
There should be continuity.
Replace the armature with a new one i f necessary.
Check far continuity between each individual commutator bar
and the armature shaft.
There should be no continuity.
Replace the armature with a new one i f necessary.
Check the dust seal for wear or damage.
Apply grease ta the dust seal lips.
