FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
Remove the fork spring.
Pour out the fork fluid by pumping the fork tube several limes.
CAUTION:
Do not over tighten the fork slider.
Hold the fork slider in a vise with a piece of wood or soft jaws
to avoid damage.
Loosen and remove the fork socket bolt and sealing washer
from the fork slider.
If the fork piston turns with the socket bolt, temporarily i n stall
the fork spring, washer, spring seat and fork cap bolt.
Remove the fork piston and rebound spring from the tori< tube.
NOTE:
Do not remove the fork piston ring, unless it i s necessary to
replace with a new one.
Remove the dust seal from the fork slider.
CAUTION:
Do not scratch the fork tube sliding surface.
