NOTE:
Refer to Service Information (page 11-1) for removal of nec-
essary parts before separating the crankcase.
Remove the bolt and cam chain guide plate.
Remove the cam chain.
Remove the left crankcase bolts.
Place the right crankcase down; separate the l e ft and right
crankcase halves.
CAUTION:
Do not pry the crankcase halves apart with a screw-driver.
Remove the gasket and dowel pins.
