SWINGARM
REMOVAL
Remove the rear wheel (page 13-3).
Remove the rear brake caliper brecket from the swingarm.
CAUTION:
Do not suspend the brake caliper from the brake hose. Do
not twist the brake hose.

REAR WHEEL/SUSPENSION
Do not operate the brake pedal after removing the caliper
and rear wheel. To do so will cause difficulty in fitting the
brake disc between the brake pads.
Remove the rear brake hose from the clamp.
Remove the bolts and drive chain cover.
Remove the shock absorber l o wer mounting bolt (page 13-
9).
Remove the swingarm pivot caps.
Remove the swingarm pivot bolt/nut and move to rearward.
