Tighten the pad pin to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 18 N-m (1.8 kgf-m, 13 lbf-ft)
Install and tighten the pad pin plug to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 3 N-m (0.3 kgf-m, 2.2 lbf-ft)
P: 5 1Y.hh1iidi
After replacement, operate the brake lever to seat the cali-
per pistons against the pads.
BRAKE DISC INSPECTION
Visually i n spect the disc for damage or cracks.
Measure the brake disc thickness at several points.
SERVICE LIMITS:
Front: 3.5 mm (0.14 in)
Rear: 3.5 mm (0.14 in)
Replace the brake disc i f the smallest measurement is less
than the service limits.
Check the brake disc for warpage.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.30 mm (0.012 in)
Check the wheel bearings for excessive play, i f the warpage
exceeds the service l i mit.
Replace the brake disc i f the wheel bearings are normal.

CAUTION:
Avoid sp/1/ing brake fluid on painted, plastic orrubber parts.
Place a rag or shop towel over these parts whenever the
system Is serviced.
When removing the oil hose, cover the end of the hose to
prevent contamination.
REMOVAL
Drain the brake fluid (page 14-4).
Remove the brake oil bolt and sealing washers.
